Upcoming Projects:
My second music video for the “Idea of machines”. For the song New Wave on the upcoming album Ungodly Hour. A follow up to “After the Spread”, it follows the metalhead character after the events of the party.
“The Hill” is a live action Short film created by students at UTS. The team reached out to me to work on the animated elements of their film after seeing my work on “Starfall”, another UTS student lead project.

Hi! I’m Ash Tysowski
a Canadian freelance animator based in Metro Vancouver. I consider myself quite the ambitious person, not scared of hard work and never backing down from a challenge. I’m no stranger to late nights fuelled by the desire to create something beautiful. My biggest drive in life is to never stop learning, and I’ve found creating art the perfect outlet for this. Art is something you can never truly perfect, there’s always a new skill you can learn and new people you can learn from.
Animation has inspired me throughout my life. From being a source of comfort and joy growing up, to becoming something I aspire to be a part of. Nothing fuels my drive to create more than watching a masterpiece on the big screen, or even just my home TV. I’ve really fallen in love with the art-form, even enjoying the tedium of animating itself. For me, to animate is to bring art to life, enhancing a story in a way no other visual medium can.
